Hot Chicken Days: 30 Ways to Feel the Burn.

This year the Music City Hot Chicken Festival is partnering with Nashville Originals and its membership of local restaurateurs to present Hot Chicken Days: 30 Ways to Feel the Burn. The promotion promises to turn up the heat from June 4 to July 4 when more than 30 area restaurants will be featuring their own creative take on our city’s unique dish all leading up to the July 4 Hot Chicken Festival presented by Piedmont Natural Gas.

“Hot Chicken is a great local culinary tradition, and as Nashville’s locally owned restaurants we were glad for the opportunity to collectively celebrate this great dish,” said Laura Hill, Nashville Originals executive director.

During the month, Nashville favorite restaurants such as ChaChah, Cabana, Fido, Mambu, Noshville and Watermark to name a few will be dishing out some very creative plates in celebration of our spicy bird.To tempt the palate, some of the dishes offered will include: Quail Wings with Habanero Kaffir Dust, Cruze Farms Buttermilk Ranch, White Bread Pudding, Pickled Radishes at ChaChah; Bacon Wrapped Hot Chicken stuffed with Cappicola at Wild Iris; Gorgonzola Crusted Thai Chili Chicken Wing, Krystaled Red Potatoes, Cornichon Chow Chow, Crispy Celery Leaves at Holland House. Cabana will be serving up Jalapeno-Marinated Hot Chicken with Bacon Waffles and Pickled Green Tomatoes. Tayst will add Hot Pickled Chicken: Fried Pickled Chicken Chips served with Celery and American Dressing to their menu. Copper Kettle will serve Sweet and Spicy Southern Fried Chicken and Sweet and Spicy Southern Fried Chicken Salad. Finally, patrons will even be able to participate during casual lunches at places like Noshville which is offering a Spicy Chicken Melt, Spicy Chicken Salad Sandwich and a Spicy Chicken/Avocado/Bacon Club Sandwich on their menu for the month.  For complete menus, please visit the "Feel the Burn" tab above.
